Learn Fletching
Fletching produces bows, arrows, and wooden furniture. It's open to all classes, has one of the largest recipe pools in the game (1,057 recipes), and supplies ranged ammunition for any class that uses a bow. Rangers and other bow-users benefit the most, but anyone can level it.
Overview
The tradeskill covers three main product categories: arrows (the bread and butter), bows (less common but higher-value), and furniture (a later addition). Arrow consumption is constant for ranged classes, so there's always demand.
Fletching has the second-largest recipe catalog in the game after Jewelcraft, which makes the 301–350 mastery grind substantial. Plan accordingly.

Reaching 350
876 of 1,057 recipes must be learned for 350. This is a large recipe pool — third highest in the game. Budget significant time and materials for the mastery grind.
Trophy Evolution
The Fletching Trophy evolves through successful combines. A few things to keep in mind:
- Only successful combines count toward evolution
- The trophy stops evolving on recipes more than 100 trivial points above your current skill (until skill 250)
- You must have the trophy equipped for the modifier to apply
Key Recipes
Fletching leveling follows a clear tier structure:
- Low tier (1–54): Basic wooden arrows — cheap vendor-bought shafts, feathers, and arrowheads
- Mid tier (55–150): Silver and steel-tipped arrows, simple bows
- High tier (150–300): Expansion-specific arrows and composite bows using dropped components
- Mastery (301–350): Recipe discovery across the full catalog
Arrow recipes tend to be cheaper than bow recipes. Focus on arrows for skilling up and bows only when you have the materials.
